Yes. We use soy wax, cotton wicks, and phthalate‑free fragrance oils or essential oils.

• Are your candles safe for pets and children?

Soy candles are generally safer than paraffin, but always keep candles out of reach and never leave them burning unattended.

• Do you use essential oils or fragrance oils?

We use a blend of essential oils and high‑quality, phthalate‑free fragrance oils for optimal scent throw.

• Are your candles vegan?

Yes. Soy wax is plant‑based, and our ingredients are cruelty‑free.

Candle Use & Care

• How long do your candles burn?

Burn time varies by size, typically 40–125 hours depending on the jar and wick.

• How do I prevent tunneling?

Allow the candle to burn until the melted wax reaches the edges of the jar during the first burn.

• Why is the scent lighter than expected?

Soy wax releases fragrance gradually. Room size, airflow, and wick trimming all affect scent throw.

• Do soy candles produce soot?

Minimal soot when the wick is trimmed to ¼ inch before each burn.

• How should I care for my candle?

Trim the wick, avoid drafts, and stop burning when ½ inch of wax remains.m.

• Can I reuse the candle jar?

Yes. Clean out leftover wax with warm water and soap, then repurpose the jar.

• Is your packaging eco‑friendly?

We use recyclable and biodegradable packaging whenever possible.

Unused candles in original packaging may be returned within 30 days. 

• What if my candle arrives damaged?

Contact us @ Tannehillcandle@gmail.com or text 205-919-91984 photos of packaging as arrived and broken or damaged candle and your order number. We’ll replace or refund damaged items.
